No. 2 : Kitchen Scoop

Roasted sesame seed oil is a dark or black sesame seed that has been roasted and then pressed for oil. It’s the most flavorful! Don’t use it for cooking, it will lose its yummy toasty taste. Instead, use if in dressings, or drizzle it over sparingly over roasted or baked foods. And make sure to store it in the fridge, nut and seed oils will go rancid much faster than other oils. In the fridge, it will stay for 6 months or more.

No. 3 : Clever

White miso is made from soybeans that have been fermented with rice  – resulting in a sweet and slightly funky taste. (You can find white miso in the regular grocery store, look for it in the Asian section, or in the dairy aisle next to vegan foods.)  Don’t think that you can only use the white miso in this recipe, used sparingly it adds a pop of richness to many dressings and sauces. Also try it with roasted vegetables, under high heat it caramelizes and makes the veggies even better!
