No. 2 : Kitchen Scoop

Did you know that unless you are baking – you don’t have to preheat your oven? Yes, a preheated oven will allow you to cook faster – but for savory dishes – you don’t have to preheat!

No. 3 : Clever Idea

Did you know that sweet onions are grown all over the world? The mildness of a sweet onion is attributable to their low sulfur content and high water content when compared to a “regular” onion. Use sweet onions in recipes that specifically call for them. Because of their water content, used in many recipes, they will break down and become mushy, not a texture we want!

Scarbolo Ramato Pinot Grigio
Fruili, Northern Italy
About $19.00

When you find this bottle, you’ll be surprised when you look at the color! Not the usual light straw color, instead its a lovely bright copper color. That is because this 100% Pinot Grigio is made in a traditional Northern Italian style – it reflects the color of the grape skins of Pinot Grigio. The skins have been left with the juice for a time, which gives richness and flavor to this wine!
